There are several different ways of using a pendulum. The most common is the yes, no or neutral answer to questions.
To use a pendulum this way you first need to hold the pendulum so the end can swing freely.
Make sure the object you used to make it is still. Ask it to show you a yes answer.
Your pendulum with either swing back and forth, up and down or in a circle clockwise or counterclockwise.
Stop the pendulum so it is again still and ask it for a no answer.
It will swing in a different direction from the yes answer so you know which is which.
Do the same for a neutral answer.
You are now ready to ask a question. It must be a question that can be answered yes, no or neutrally.
So you could ask "Do trees have bark"? not "When will my sister have her baby?"
Another way to use pendulums is with charts, maps or to identify energy centers or locate lost objects, etc.,.
