We are a small, independent bookstore offering a great selection of books & merchandise that We think you will like!
We have delighted in sharing our love & interests in the esoteric world since we first set up shop in whitinsville, massachusetts in 1997. Since then we have closed that location and continue to focus on our present one

we offer you an eclectic variety of books, crystals, jewelry, incense , etc...
we honor all paths & try to provide something for everyone......whether to enlighten you or to make you smile or think!

directions to the emporium.......Where are you?????
Lots of people use their GPS & get lost & confused and call us from O'Connor's Restaurant - just down the street.... Taproot Booktore is located on Rte 12 /West Boylston St (or sometimes even called State Road ?) in Worcester, on the Worcester/West Boylston line.
Exit 4 off I190 - take a left and we are the first building (small yellowish house w/maroon trim) on the right. You can see us from the traffic light on the I190 ramp.
If you ARE at O'Connor's (a very fine establishment, BTW), turn right out of their parking lot and GO STRAIGHT down Rte 12. Do NOT NOT NOT bear right at the 'West Boylston Street' sign there - go through the lights on Rte 12, and on the right, across from the Sunoco station, we'll be awaiting! Or you can park at O'Connor's and walk 563 paces and you'll be at our front door. Steve's Pizza is our neighbor on the West Boylston side - they have really good pizza and subs, especially if you are lost & hungry.......
